Alexander Isak’s parents decided to leave the country out of fear for their lives and to provide a better future for their unborn children as a result of the political scenario and the absence of human rights in the nation.

They found Sweden as an ideal location where baby Isak was later born. Despite coming from a migrant family and growing up in Solna Municipality, his parents were able to pay for him to have an early education.

The player decided to focus all of his energy on soccer, a sport he fell in love with, after observing how slowly migrant children progressed through school and how many of them dropped out at alarmingly high rates.

This progress started to pay off immediately because he was soon invited to trials with the neighborhood team of his municipality, AIK Fotboll.
