Jenn is Crumpler’s support system. She has been there for him in his worst and the best. While Crumpler tried to return to his shape, she motivated him.

In Crumpler’s consultation with Emory Healthcare, she stated that when he sets a goal, he’s going to hit that goal. Further, he doesn’t want to tell anybody he didn’t reach something he was going for.

Parenthood

Crumpler and his family currently reside in Suwanee, GA. He drives his 42-foot RV to North Carolina to watch Tar Heels home games in the fall.

Crumpler jokingly confessed that he took his daughters at the Texans game, and the two youngest read a book through the entire game. Except when people got up and did the Whip/Nae Nae dance.

Crumpler enjoys parenthood. He says he can attend his kids’ sports and dance recitals.

The couple is giving their all to raise their daughters. They like to keep their daughters out of the limelight and don’t want the fame to get to them.

Crumpler’s Mental Health

Alge’s post-retirement experience was traumatic. He rapidly put on weight. He developed arthritis, prediabetes, high blood pressure, and ongoing back and knee discomfort.

Crumpler was not worried about his appearance but about his mental well-being. He lost his sense of purpose and felt like the days were passing him by. He had trouble joining in on family outings.

Emory Healthcare helped Crumpler regain his feet after consultations with him and his wife.

Alge’s health journey was documented for over four years, starting in 2018. His family, friends, and medical team have helped him. He has returned to living his best life after four years of commitment, giving, and effort.
