In a heartbreaking turn of events, the parents of athlete Amy Stout tragically passed away on June 15, 2025, while attending a game at an American sporting arena.

The couple, whose names have not been publicly released, were reportedly cheering from the stands.

However, they lost consciousness due to what appears to be heat-related complications.

Amy Stout Tragically Lost Both Of Her Parents During A Game!

According to eyewitnesses and a video circulating on social media, a police officer attempted to revive the couple, with the woman slumped against the man’s shoulder.

Despite efforts from authorities, both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial speculation online ranged from drug use to intoxication, with some commenters suggesting the couple appeared “high” or unwell.

A viral claim alleged that an East L.A. couple died from a fentanyl overdose on a bench at SoFi Stadium.

Also, some viewers noted that the woman’s arm appeared to move, suggesting she might have been in a deep sleep.

Others questioned the authenticity of the couple’s passing, commenting,

Even so… when people are unconscious, they can’t sit straight up in a chair. They’d fall over, especially after being nudged so much… they’re clearly pretending. They’d fall out of position.

Similarly, another user added:

I figured they would only be waking them up if the event was over… because being asleep during the event isn’t suspicious or out of the ordinary to begin with.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, some individuals mocked the event or claimed it was staged.

In response, others expressed concern for the grieving family, urging compassion and empathy.

However, the daughter of the deceased couple, Amy Stout, later issued a public statement clarifying the circumstances:

This is my parents and both were on insulin and blood pressure meds and from the sun and heat I lost both my parents. The medical examiner said they passed 10 minutes apart. So no my parents don’t do dope or drink they took their BP meds and insulin and wasn’t thinking about the heat due to excitement of going to the game later that day.

As tributes continue to flood social media, Amy Stout’s loss serves as a sobering reminder of the hidden dangers of heat exposure, particularly for those with underlying health conditions.

However, authorities have not yet released an official cause of death.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Amy Stout as they navigate the unimaginable pain of losing both parents.

Rest In Peace, Beautiful Couple!
