Angelina began her professional career back in 2000, the beginning of the century. At first, she was associated with Hardcore Wrestling Federation in Ontario, Canada, and wrestled in various independent promotions under the ring name Angel Williams.

In September 2007, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling contacted Angelina to appear at their annual pay-per-view Bound for Glory.
