Anna Waters was born to her parents, Stephen and Leigh Waters. She grew up in the vibrant city of Delray Beach, Florida. However, their lives unexpectedly turned in 2017 when Hurricane Irma struck their area.

Seeking refuge from the storm, Anna and her family temporarily sought shelter with her grandparents in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

During their time in Allentown, Anna and her mother discovered the sport of pickleball. Fascinated by the game, they began playing together and quickly developed a passion for it.

Her parents and maternal grandparents, Neil Eichelberger and Ann Eichelberger, have always been in the picture and have supported her at every step.

Waters is homeschooled by her grandmother. Her mother, coach, manager, and doubles partner, Leigh, has stated that Waters will likely delay college to pursue her professional pickleball career.

Waters Achievements 

In 2021, Waters displayed exceptional skills and emerged victorious in several prestigious pickleball tournaments. She triumphed in the doubles national championship at the Orlando Cup, securing the coveted title.

Furthermore, she won in singles, clinching gold medals at the Newport Beach Showcase, Orlando Cup, Texas Open, and the Margaritaville USA Pickleball Nationals Championship.

Her accomplishments continued at the 2021 U.S. Open. Waters claimed the bronze medal in singles, further solidifying her status as a top-tier player.

Additionally, at the 2021 Acrytech Atlanta Open, she showcased her talent by earning the silver medal in doubles and the bronze medal in mixed doubles.

In 2022, Anna and her mother participated in the first nationally televised pickleball match on CBS Sports. The Waters duo defeated their opponents, Lucy Kovalova and Callie Smith, at the Skechers Invitational Summer Championship. 

Continuing her success, she achieved another notable victory in May 2023. At the PPA North Carolina Open, she clinched the mixed doubles title. There, she teamed up with former world No. 8 tennis player Jack Sock
