The bowler’s parents remained a strong pillar of support for their son’s career.

Though they departed this world prematurely, they missed many milestones in their son’s life. Nonetheless, they were fortunate enough to witness his strides in the world of sports.

Father, Benjamin Simonsen

Anthony’s father, Benjamin A. Simonsen, often called Ben, was born in the United States on April 6, 1960.

He used to work as a diesel parts seller to support his family. Reportedly, he only had a little money, though he supported his family and kids in making their careers in their desired fields.

The bowler shared the news on his Instagram post with the caption

At 9:20 am Friday morning my dad peacefully went to join my mom in heaven. He is finally pain-free.

I’ll never forget what he has done for me to get to where I’m at in life, and I’m looking forward to keep making you and Mom proud while y’all watch over me.

Happy he got to witness the first title in person… all he ever wanted was for me to enjoy and be successful bowling. It’s not goodbye… just see you later. I love you, Dad!

Though Ben is no more with the bowler, he often remembers him and pours his heart on various occasions.

His Mother, Teresa

Anthony’s mother, Teresa Gayle Simonsen, was born in Galveston, TX, on August 25, 1959, and grew up in Amarillo.

Likewise, the celebrity mother graduated from Amarillo High School in 1977. She later moved to Dallas in 1980 and started work in the grocery industry, most recently employed by Fiesta in Dallas.

Also, Gayle Simonsen’s favorite hobby was playing Bingo, and with her outgoing personality, she could enter a room of strangers and leave having spoken to everyone, making friends along the way.

Sadly, Teresa died on March 18, 2021. The exact cause of her demise has not been revealed.
