The talented Kenyan runner Kelvin Kiptum died on February 11, 2024, in a road accident at the young age of 24.
He was living a happily married life with his wife, Asenath, and the couple had two children together at the time of the runner’s death.

The running champion died in a car accident near Kaptagat, Kenya. In the accident, his coach, Gervais Hakizimana, also passed away.
Reportedly, the local police revealed that Kelvin was driving the car when it lost control and rolled over, and sadly, both Kiptum and Hakizimana died in the accident. Another person, a woman, got injured in the crash.
