Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray’s husband-to-be, Tim Mangum Jr, holds a Master’s degree in psychology from Texas State University.

Allisha Gray has been named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week and AP Player of the Week for Week 4.

It marks the second weekly honor of Gray’s career, both coming this season and makes her the first Dream player since 2018 to win the award multiple times in a single season.

She averaged 23.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting an efficient 60% from the field over three games.

Her +25.3 plus-minus across the week reflected her dominant impact on both ends of the floor, as Atlanta went a perfect 3-0 to continue one of the best starts in franchise history.

She opened the week with 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists in a win over Indiana, then followed with 15 points, seven boards, and five assists in a balanced effort against Chicago.

Gray capped off the week with a career-best performance on the road in Washington, scoring 32 points- her first-ever 30-point game- alongside five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

The Dream’s 33-point win marked their most significant margin of victory since 2014.

She has established herself as one of the league’s most dynamic two-way players, helping steer the Dream to their best start in nearly a decade.

Allisha Gray’s Fiancé, Tim Mangum Jr, Proposed to Her After Orchestrating A Fake Magazine Cover Shoot

Allisha Gray and Tim Mangum Jr’s relationship started during their college years at the University of South Carolina.

They were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and fellow Gamecock, A’ja Wilson.

After several years of dating and supporting each other, Mangum proposed to Gray on March 29, 2025, in a creative way by orchestrating a fake magazine cover shoot.

Allisha said her agent texted her for a sibling photo shoot with her little sister, who played basketball at Alabama State.

The agent said Allisha had to wear a dress because they were looking for a cute, feminine shoot.

When Allisha arrived, she saw Mangum in the venue waiting for her, surrounded by rose petals, framed photos, and the words “Marry me” spelled out in marquee letters.

Mangum got down on one knee and proposed to Allisha with a princess-shaped diamond from Kay Jewelers.

Before the proposal, Mangum was nervous, so he called Allisha’s father for advice, and everything changed when he saw his wife-to-be. He said,

“When she walked around the corner, I could just feel all the emotions washing over me,”
