While critics believe the numbers are modest, he tied for the team lead in targets and had the most receptions among Falcons’ pass catchers.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts began his NFL career after being selected fourth overall by the Falcons in the 2021 NFL draft. He became the highest drafted tight end in NFL history.

Pitts’ glorious start in the league gave fans high hopes, and he did not disappoint.

Praised for his size (6’6”), speed, and wide-receiver-like skills, Pitts had over 1,000 receiving yards in his rookie season and was later named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie.

Therefore, he creates mismatches against defenders because he is too fast for linebackers and too tall for defensive backs.

Pitts also had an outstanding college football career at the University of Florida, where he was named a unanimous All-American and bagged the John Mackey Award as the most outstanding tight end in college football for the season.

Furthermore, Pitts signed a rookie deal worth nearly $33 million and was named to the 2021 PFWA All-Rookie Team, in addition to being selected for the Pro Bowl.

Similarly, his fellow players also ranked him 91st on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022.

However, his career faced a sudden halt after suffering a knee injury in the second half of the Week 11 match against the Chicago Bears.

Hence, he was ruled out for the remainder of the 2022 season after having surgery to repair the MCL in his right knee.

Nonetheless, Pitts bounced back in the 2023 season and has been delivering stellar performances since.

Besides having a stable and blossoming NFL career, Pitts is also winning in his personal life. While he tends to keep his personal life private, he has briefly shared glimpses of his relationship with his fellow University of Florida Alum, A’lyric Warrick.

However, it seems he has deleted or archived his posts related to his relationship in recent times.

Although he might want to keep his relationship under wraps, Pitts has been quite expressive about becoming a father.

In 2023, he announced the birth of his son, Kyle Anthony Pitts Jr., on his Instagram page.

He is very involved in his son’s life and frequently shares beautiful glimpses of the father-son bond on his social media.

In his recent post, he shared a video of himself playing with Lego alongside his son. The comment section was filled with heartfelt messages and blessings from his fans.

Fans are delighted to witness a different side of Pitts besides his competitive and fierce side during the game.

Therefore, at just 24, Kyle Pitts has not only built a solid career but also built a beautiful life, embracing his fatherhood.
