Sophomore quarterback with growing experience and a strong football family connection

Cam Coleman’s younger brother, Bobby Coleman Jr., is following in his footsteps, steadily making a name for himself as a rising talent in high school football.

Cam Coleman is an American college football player, born on August 14, 2006, who plays as a wide receiver for the Auburn Tigers in NCAA Division I football.

A native of Phenix City, Alabama, he was one of the top recruits in the country as a five-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class.

As of late December 2025, Coleman announced his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal once the window opens in early January.

This decision makes him one of the most sought-after players in college football’s transfer market.

Cam Coleman and Bobby Jr. Raised in a Football-Driven Family!

Cam Coleman comes from a close-knit and athletic family background.

His father, Bobby Coleman, played college football at Alabama State, which helped influence Cam’s early interest in the sport.

On the other hand, his mother, E’sha Coleman, is known for her strong support of his academic and athletic development, though her professional background has not been widely publicized.

Cam has a younger brother named Bobby Coleman Jr., who is also involved in football.

Bobby Jr. is a high school quarterback from Phenix City, Alabama, attending Central High School.

During the 2024 season, he spent his sophomore year at Central High School in a reserve role, completing 20 of 33 passes for 408 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions.

He is considered a prospective college recruit in the Class of 2027, ranked among the notable quarterbacks in his class.

Standing around 6′0″ and weighing approximately 170–180 lbs, Bobby plays quarterback for Central’s varsity football team.

Unlike his older brother Cam, who starred as a five-star wide receiver and went on to play at Auburn, Bobby is still in high school and developing his game.

However, he has already drawn offers and recruiting interest from multiple schools, including Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, and others, as he progresses through his junior season.

On the other hand, Cam and Bobby also have a sister named Bria, who maintains a private life outside the public eye.

As Cam Coleman and his family keep a low profile, their football success speaks for itself, with their on-field achievements making far more noise than their private lives ever do.
