Later in September 2011, Daye signed a two-month contract with Khimki of the Russian Basketball League. However, he returned to the Pistons in December 2011 due to the conclusion of the NBA lockout.
Later on August 1, 2013, he was traded to Memphis Grizzles as a part of a three-way deal. The same year on January 30, Daye signed with the Toronto Raptors.
Daye was traded to the San Antonio Spurs on February 20, 2014, for Nando de Colo. Although Daye was assigned to Austin Toros on March 15, 2014, he was recalled the next day.
Further, he set a season-high 22 points and ten rebounds against Minnesota Timberwolves on January 10, 2015. Sadly, he was waved by the Spurs a week after that game.
