Blair Socci Reschedules San Francisco Show After Her Brother, Former Cal Poly Basketball Player RJ Socci’s Passing

On March 27, the LA-based comedian Blair Socci shared on Threads that she hoped her brother would bring her the sweetest husband to help heal her shattered heart.

On the same day, Blair Socci expressed her grief and how much she missed someone, saying it made her sick to think about growing old without them.

Well, only two days earlier, on March 25, Blair Socci asked her fans to hold her brother RJ, as he was no longer with them.

Blair took to the social media platform to share that she has to reschedule her upcoming San Francisco, Sacramento, and Dallas shows due to her heart being shattered.

She expressed her excitement about the tour and hoped fans would attend the rescheduled dates.

Then, Blair paid tribute to RJ, saying, “RJ forever.”

RJ Socci, 42, was 5’11 “tall and a former point guard and shooting guard for the Cal Poly Mustangs in the NCAA.

Like her brother, Blair was a four-year varsity letter winner at Santa Margarita High School, where her team won the CIF Championship in 2004.

After all, RJ was involved in sports, having played on the NCAA Basketball team during college.

Socci saw limited playtime throughout college, with his best season being 2004-2005.

During that season, he played 12 games, averaging 1.2 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game.

His career high in points was 6, which he achieved on February 19, 2004, in a home loss against Cal State Northridge.

In that game, he recorded 1 assist and 1 steal and shot 100% from the free-throw line.

RJ reached career highs in rebounds and assists, with 2 rebounds in 2003 and 2 assists in 2005.

Although his college basketball career was short, RJ contributed in various aspects of the game when called upon.

His time with the Cal Poly Mustangs ended after the 2005-2006 season.

Then, he worked in acquisitions and asset management at Brookline Investment Group, a company based in Aliso Viejo, California.
