The retired American college basketball coach, Bob Huggins, does not have a son but instead has two daughters, Jenna Leigh and Jacqueline.

Born on September 21, 1953, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Robert Edward Huggins, also known as “Huggy Bear,” was the head coach at Walsh, Akron, Cincinnati, Kansas State, and West Virginia.

Growing up, he also played basketball at Indian Valley South High School and, as a senior, helped lead his team to a 26-0 season. 

After high school, he played collegiate basketball at Ohio University as a point guard for the Mountaineers from 1975 until 1977.

Huggins began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at West Virginia under Gardner in 1977.

During his coaching career, Huggy Bear received several accolades and honors, including a 2-time NCAA Regional- Final Four, C-USA Coach of the Decade (2005), 3-time C-USA Coach of the Year (1998-2000), Big 12 Coach of the Year (2015).

Moreover, he is the sixth men’s college basketball coach with 900 or more career victories.

Huggins retired from coaching in 2023 following his arrest on a driving under the influence charge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 16, 2023.

Bob Huggins Eldest Daughter: Jenna Leigh 

Jenna Leigh Huggins, born in September 1983, is the first-born to parents Bob and June Fillman Huggins.

Jenna completed her undergraduate degree with a major in business marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

Later, she went to West Virginia University and graduated with a master’s degree in sports management.

In 2009, She joined the WVU Athletics Business Office and worked for nearly a decade before taking the position of department’s travel coordinator.

Prior to her full-time capacity in the Business Office, she also served as a graduate assistant.

Even though being the daughter of a famous personality, she rather got media attention for her involvement in several controversies over the years.

In 2015, Jenna tweeted controversial jokes on her Twitter account, taunting Terps’ Dez Wells. This wasn’t taken well by the public and received a lot of backlash from them.

She immediately deleted her tweet and released a formal written apology for her insensitive words regarding Dez Wells.

Bob Huggins Youngest Daughter: Jacqueline Huggins

Huggins’ other daughter, Jacqueline Huggins, was born in September 1986.

Jacqueline has always been very supportive of her father, Bob.

After her father resigned as the head coach from the university, she even defended him against West Virginia University and called them ‘cowards,’ ‘backstabbers,’ and ‘hypocrites.’

Besides, Jacque seems to love outdoor activities like hunting and fishing, as shown by her via Instagram @jacquehuggins.

Being the youngest child, she has always been pampered with all the love from her family growing up.

She frequently shares pictures of her outdoor adventures on her social media handles.

Moreover, Jacque is engaged to Billy Anderson, who works at Ford Motor Company. She announced the news of her being engaged on her socials.
