Brown went to Westchester High School in Los Angeles, California, and played high school basketball there. The player shared the court with future NBA players Trevor Ariza and Hassan Adams.

Later Years
Bobby signed with Beşiktaş Sompo Japan of Turkey on March 28, 2016, for the remainder of the 2015–16 Turkish Super League season.
Similarly, he returned to the NBA and signed with the Houston Rockets on September 23, 2016. The player played for the team until he was finally waived by the Rockets on January 5, 2018.
Following that, Bobby agreed to terms with Olympiacos of Greece on February 22, 2018, for the remainder of the Greek Basket League and EuroLeague seasons.
