Bonginkosi Ntuli was a South African professional soccer player who was always dedicated to his craft. He was born on March 28, 1991, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Ntuli has always been in love with the sport ever since he was a kid. He began his career in the Vodacom League with Sobantu Shooting Stars.

But shortly after, he went on to join the Golden Arrows reserve team, where he made his debut in January 2012. 

After the Arrows, he joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014 but struggled to break into the team, and six months later, he joined AmaZulu on loan.

From 2015 to 2018, Platinum Stars loaned Ntuli. A resilient player, Ntuli went on trial with Djurgardens IF in July 2018.

However, his transfer to Europe never happened because Ntuli and Djurgardens couldn’t agree on the financial terms of his arrangement.

Ntuli joined AmaZulu on loan in August 2018, which later turned into a permanent deal in 2019.

Keagan Larenzo Dolly of the Kaizer Chiefs is said to be the highest-earning player of the PSL. He earns a massive sum of R17,400,000 ($948,803.56) per year.

Along the same lines, Eric Mathoho, who falls in the 20th position of highest earning player of the league, receives R2,640,000 ($143,956.40)

So, if we do the math, Ntuli’s yearly salary falls somewhere between the range of $50k to $100k per year. 

On top of that, the player owns a relatively small collection of cars, which include big brands like Ford, BMW, and Volkswagen.

Among the collection, his Ford Mustang is his most prized possession, which costs over one million South African Rand.

Ntuli, known for his talent, tragically succumbed to an aggressive form of cancer. A statement from AmaZulu FC confirmed his untimely demise.

The statement revealed that he had recently received the diagnosis of the disease, which was rapidly spreading.

This led to his passing at Midlands Medical Centre Private Hospital in Pietermaritzburg.

The news reverberated through social media, with fans, friends, and fellow soccer players expressing their heartfelt condolences.
