College Football Playoff chairman Boo Corrigan and his wife, Kristen Aceto, have been married for over two decades.
Kristen has been with her beau through every up and down, supporting him through his most challenging times.
They are proud parents of three kids—two sons and one daughter. Moreover, each of them is excelling in their own field.
Boo Corrigan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1990 and later obtained a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013.
He served as an associate athletic director at Duke University, the University of Notre Dame, and the United States Naval Academy.
On May 1, 2019, Corrigan assumed the role of director of athletics at North Carolina State University. The Wolfpack has thrived remarkably under his leadership.
During the 2020-21 academic year, five programs within the Wolfpack achieved success by finishing in the top four in the nation according to their respective polls.
Furthermore, in 2022, he assumed the role of chair of the selection committee of the College Football Playoff.

Her commitment to education is equally impressive, as she holds a master’s degree from the same university.
As a family, Boo and Kristen have been blessed with the love and presence of three wonderful children: Finley, Tre, and Brian.
Daughter: Finley Corrigan
Finley Corrigan completed high school at James I. O’Neill High School in 2019.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in television and digital marketing from the University of Notre Dame in May 2023.

During his time at Ravenscroft, Tre also earned letters in both track and field and cross country.
Currently in his junior year at Sewanee: The University of the South, Tre has significantly contributed to the basketball team.
In his freshman year, he played in all 22 games, with 8 starts, and averaged 9.4 points per game.
His sophomore year in the 2022-23 season saw him play and start in all 29 games, elevating his average to 11.1 points per game.
Turning to academics, Tre is pursuing a major in economics with a minor in business.
