Brady Paul Poppinga was born in Evanston, Wyoming, on September 21, 1979. He is famous as a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL).

The graduate of Evanston High School began his football journey playing college football at Brigham Young University. 

Later, the Green Bay Packers selected him as the 12th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft (2005-2010).

One of Brady’s notable career milestones was winning Super Bowl XLV as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

This victory happened when the Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the championship game, marking a significant achievement in his NFL career.

Furthermore, in the later stages of his career, Brady Poppinga played as a linebacker for professional teams like St. Louis Rams (2011) and Dallas Cowboys (2012).

Braddy Poppinga, the former linebacker, has been sharing a healthy and fulfilling marriage with his wife, Brooke Hubbard, since 2002.

Discussing Hubbard’s professional life, she and her husband run a nonprofit organization, Poppinga Play It Forward Fund. Likewise, she also served a full-time mission in Uruguay.

Together, the couple were blessed with four kids. After the death of their only son, they now share three daughters. 

Brooke has always done her best as a loving wife and mom. She’s never let her family fall apart and has been there for them through thick and thin.

Brady Poppinga’s Son Julius Death

Brady Poppinga’s son, Julius Poppinga, died from a severe asthma attack on August 30, 2023. 

The former high school player, 17, was hospitalized after suffering an asthma attack last week that led to a collapsed lung. 

As per the sources, the teenager was a senior at Westlake High School and a member of the varsity football and lacrosse team at the school in Thousand Oaks, California.

Julius’ family members shocked everyone, confirming his death news through social media.

His elder sister, Jasmine Poppinga, wrote him a touching tribute saying:

“Words can not even begin to describe the immense amount of love, kindness, compassion, humor, athleticism, knowledge, trustworthiness, consideration for others, sincerity, loyalty, and friendly characteristics Julius holds. He is the best younger brother I could ever ask for. And the most amazing older brother to my younger sisters. He always lights up a room with his loving and warm energy. He has always been amazing on and off the football and lacrosse field and a phenomenal supportive teammate.”

On the other hand, Packers Super Bowl winner Brady also posted an emotional tribute to his child after his death. 

The Poppinga family are now doing well with all the love and support they receive from fans, Julius’ teammates, high school, and coaches.
