Breece Hall does not have a girlfriend, let alone a wife. And if he does, then he is pretty good at keeping his significant other away from the public eye.
On his Instagram, Breece has shared pictures with his family and teammates but never with someone who could possibly be his better half.
Even on draft day in 2022, when Breece was announced as the no.36 overall pick, the New York Jets player was surrounded by his mom and sister.
Draft days are one of those days, many football players arrive with their family as well as their better half, but Breece only had his family with him during the career-defining moment.
The 22-year-old looks focused on returning to the Jets’ squad after suffering from an ACL injury in Week 7 against Denver Broncos. Robert Saleh has given positive updates about the running back’s progress.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Saleh said he couldn’t for Hall’s return and is optimistic he will return for Week 1. The Iowa starlet said he feels like himself again and wants to make an impact as soon as possible.
Breece Hall Is Raised By A Single Mother LaRhonda McDaniel
The New York Jets player, Breece Hall, wasn’t a troublesome kid, says his mom, LaRhonda.
LaRhonda McDaniel raised Breece and his older sister, Naria, in Omaha. For several years, LaRhonda worked as a flight attendant at Delta. Sometimes her work at Delta helped her never miss any games.
Breece and his family shifted to Wichita in 2011 as LaRhonda believed the environment in Omaha wasn’t right for her kids. There she met Jeff Smith, a former NFL player.
Smith, a 10th-round pick in 1985, played for Kanas and Tampa Bay in his short-lived NFL career.
Soon Jeff and LaRhonda tied the knot, and Breece had a father figure to look up to. Breece has said Smith has provided stability in his life.
In his interview with The Athletic, Breece said Jeff won him quickly by gifting him an expensive pair of Nike cleats.
Growing up, Breece looked set to become an NBA player. LaRhonda supported his dream and took him to basketball tournaments. But deep down, Jeff knew his stepson would choose football over basketball. He stood correct.
At Iowa, Jeff became a star player, loved by his coaches and teammates. Iowa’s head coach, Matt Campbell, said it best in his interview.
They figured Breece would become a successful player based on how he treated his mother. He gave her the respect she deserved for running the family in difficult times.
