The professional baseball team Washington Nationals hired Bryce as the first-round pick of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.

They inked a five-year contract worth $9.9 million, comprised of eight-semester college fees and a $6.25 million sign bonus.

Bryce moved on with Philadelphia Phillies on March 2, 2019. They agreed to a thirteen-year contract worth $330 million.
