Dollaway was born on August 10, 1983. He is an American and of white ethnicity. Born in August, his sun sign is Leo.

The American fighter attended Northmor High School, Galion, Ohio. He was the state champion wrestler in the 171 lbs division during his high school years.

The Ultimate Fighter
After his wrestling career, Dollaway made his appearance in the seventh season of the reality television series, The Ultimate Fighter.
He earned popularity after he defeated David Baggett by total knockouts. Likewise, Dollaway’s next fight was with Nick Klein, whom he defeated in the second round via guillotine choke.
As for the quarterfinals, he competed with the American fighter Cale Yarbrough. The Doberman won the fight by TKO in the first round.
Unfortunately, Dollaway’s winning streak came to a halt as his next competitor, Amir Sadollah, defeated Dollaway by armbar submission in the third round.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC Record)
Following his loss at the final of “The Ultimate Fighter,” he got the opportunity to excel in UFC.
He competed at UFC Fight Night Silva: Irin. In the first round, CB played outstandingly well and defeated Jesse Taylor by Peruvian necktie.
Later in UFC 92, in 2008, Dollaway defeated Massenzio by TKO in the first round.
On September 16, 2009, he was scheduled to fight Dan Miller at UFC Fight Night 19. However, Miller suffered from infection, and newcomer Jay Silva replaced him.

That same year, American MMA fighter Jared Hamman defeated Dollaway by TKO in the second round, adding another defeat to his portfolio.
2013 Onwards and Elevator Accident
Undoubtedly, the previous years were not favorable to CB, but he was not letting it get to him. On January 19, 2013, he defeated Brazilian fighter, Daniel Sarafian.
Moreover, the win earned him a ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus for the first time in his career.
Later on March 23, 2014, Dollaway defeated Cezar Ferreira via TKO in the first round. On May 31, 2014, he won the fight against Francis Carmont via a unanimous decision.

Two Years Suspension
In 2019, USADA suspended Dollaway after testing positive for banned substances, anastrozole intravenous, and clomiphene. As a result, C.B. was suspended for two years.
Similarly, Damon Martin of MMA Fighting, USDA, announced the suspension. He was only eligible to return to the cage on December 13, 2020.
After UFC
After his two-year ban from USADA, Dollaway didn’t return to UFC. He instead chose Rizin Fighting Federation, a Japanese mixed martial arts organization.
