Cameron Heyward grew up with three brothers, including one half-brother, Craig, and an adopted sister, Meagan.

Growing up, all the brothers played sports and supported one another.

Two of the Heyward brothers are playing professional football, while Corey is a corporate employee.

However, there is not much information about Craig Jr. and his current whereabouts.

Cameron Phillip Heyward, born May 6, 1989, is an American football defensive tackle for the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers.

After completing high school at Peachtree Ridge High School, he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.

As the 26th best prospect by NFLDraftScout.com, Cameron declared for the 2011 NFL draft and was picked 31st overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers’ defensive tackle has been named to First-Team All-Pro three times, Second-Team All-Pro once, and Pro Bowl six times.

Brother: Craig Jr., Corey and Connor

Cameron was born as the eldest son to his late father, Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, and mother, Charlotte Heyward, who is now married to Cory Blackwell. He grew up with three brothers: Connor, Corey, and Craig Jr.

Being raised by an athletic father, all the Heyward brothers were into sports from a very young age.

Unfortunately, their father, Craig Sr., died of brain cancer in 2006, but his kids carried on his legacy.

Craig Jr. Played Collegiate Football

The elder half-brother of Cameron, Craig Jr., was born as the eldest child of Craig and Michelle on September 19, 1985.

He attended his father’s alma mater, Passaic High School. Shortly after the demise of his father, Craig Jr. joined the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders as a walk-on.

He did not play any games from 2006 to 2008 and featured in 12 games in 2009. Later, Craig Jr. was called for the tryout at rookie minicamp by the New Orleans Saints.

Corey Heyward Played Basketball During His College

Corey William Heyward (b. August 29, 1993) attended Peachtree Ridge High School and played basketball for the varsity team.

He averaged 11 points, six rebounds, and six assists in high school. Later, he joined the Georgia Institute of Technology and played as a guard for the Yellow Jackets.

Corey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in May 2017. Following his graduation, he started his job as a marketing executive at Element Sports Group.

Moreover, he works as a sales support specialist at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. He joined this company in November 2017 as an inside sales representative.

Connor Heyward Has Joined His Elder Brother, Cameron, At The Pittsburgh Steelers

Connor Heyward, born January 22, 1999, is an American football tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL.

He joined the Steelers as the sixth-round pick of the 2022 NFL Draft and now will be playing alongside his elder brother, who has been boasting the Steelers jersey since 2011.

Growing up in Duluth, Georgia, Connor attended Peachtree Ridge High School and played football in different positions.

As one of the top players in Georgia by ESPN.com, he committed to playing for the Michigan State University Spartans.

Playing with the Spartans, he was a four-year letter winner from 2017 to 2021 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication.

Following his collegiate career, he started his professional NFL journey with the Steelers and appeared in 17 games in his rookie season.
