Carli Lloyd Sister Ashley Lloyd And Family Life
Carli Lloyd was born and raised in Delran Township with her parents, Stephen and Pamela Lloyd.
Her sister, Ashley Lloyd, is a political activist who frequently posts protest pictures and proudly shares Carli’s achievements on Facebook.
As Carli was growing up, her relationship with her father became strained when he kicked her out of the house in 2008.
She shared this in her 2016 book ‘When Nobody Was Watching: My Hard-Fought Journey to the Top of the Soccer World.’
The tension between the family continued when Carli’s father disapproved of her attending Ashley’s wedding in 2012, causing Carli to miss out on important family events.
Fortunately, her parents and brother visited the professional player in 2020 after she rekindled her bond with her sister.
Ashley kind of helped break the ice a little bit as Carli finally worked out her relationship with the rest of her family.
