Carson Palmer grew up with an elder brother, Robert, and a younger brother, Jordan.

His younger brother also played football as a quarterback and currently holds an administrative position.

Moreover, being the younger brother of one of the best QBs, Jordan had a big shoe to fill in.

Carson Hilton Palmer, born December 27, 1979, is an American former professional football player who played 15 seasons in the NFL.

With a remarkable size and arm strength since his childhood, his father Bill enrolled him in private football classes in Orange County.

He also played football at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and later committed to play for the USC Trojans.

The 2002 Heisman Award winner started his professional football career as the Cincinnati Bengals’ first overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft.

He stayed out all his rookie season and made his NFL debut in Week 1 of the 2004 season.

Later, the 2005 NFL passing touchdowns leader went on to play with Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals before hanging his cleats.

Following his retirement, the USC Trojans Athletics Hall of Fame was inducted into the Arizona Cardinals Ring of Honor on September 29, 2019.

The former football quarterback grew up with three siblings, an elder brother Robert, an elder sister Jennifer and a younger brother Jordan.

Unfortunately, there is little to no information about Carson’s elder siblings, Robert and Jennifer.

Jordan William Palmer, born May 30, 1984, is a former American football quarterback.

His professional football journey started after the Washington Redskins picked him in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL draft.

Later, he played with several other teams, including Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans.

Currently, he is serving as the Director of Quarterback Development for the XFL.

The History Created By The Palmer Brothers And Their Support To One Another

Carson had been with the Bengals since the beginning of his professional career.

Later, his younger brother Jordan signed with the Bengals in 2008, making them the first brothers in NFL history to play QB on the same team simultaneously.

Eventually, on November 21, 2010, they became the first brothers to play QB in the same game in a 48-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Carson’s Role In Jordan’s Football Career

Jordan always looked up to his elder brother, Carson. He idolized watching Carson play high school football on Friday nights.

His elder brother was also the reason why Jordan pursued a football career.

Similarly, an incident that shows the supportive nature of Carson.

During the Palmer brothers’ time with the Bengals, the younger Palmer had a contract with no guarantees. That meant Jordan could well be cut at any time.

CARSON REPORTEDLY tried to walk away from his contractual obligations hoping to provide an opportunity for his little brother.

After a few months of being stoically silent, Carson accused the team of spitting on his younger brother.

Carson Palmer told his friend that he believes the team is “toying” with Jordan by giving him reduced reps and eventually cutting him too late to land with a new team.
