Chanda Rubin, a former WTA player, is happily married to her husband of eight years, Mireyou Hollier, a real estate agent. The couple leads a family of four, inclusive of two daughters.

After tennis career retirement, Rubin went for a broadcasting career & now works as a commentator & broadcaster for Tennis Channel.

Her achievements during her playing days, indeed, are inspirations for many newcomers in women’s tennis. She finished with seven WTA singles titles & 10 titles in the doubles category.

However, Chanda never got her hands on the Grand Slam singles.

She had advanced to the semifinals of the 1996 Australian Open & the quarterfinals of the French Open three times, having played against the likes of Serena Williams and Martina Hingis.

The tennis journey seemed a bit in favor of Rubin in the tennis doubles.

She secured a remarkable triumph in doubles by winning the 1996 Australian Open alongside Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, defeating the partnership of Mary Joe Fernández & Lindsay Davenport.

Additionally, she was a finalist in the 1999 US Open doubles event, partnering with Sandrine Testud.

Her career earnings stood at $4.47 million at the time of her retirement in 2006.

On her Instagram posts, Chanda & her beau feature another daughter who seems to be older than Harper.

Based on those facts, it is evident that she was born before the couple’s marriage. Many even claim that she may be from Chanda’s husband’s previous relationship.

However, further details on their elder daughter remain under wraps.

Her Instagram profile showcases her husband as a humble and highly supportive individual in Rubin’s career.

Career After Retirement

Chanda, who had to retire early due to her leg injury, played her last professional match in October 2006 in Quebec City. The player then transitioned into a new phase of her life.

In 2013, she pursued higher education and completed a four-year Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies focusing on Economics at Harvard Extension School, graduating with honors.

In more recent years, Rubin has carved out a career in broadcasting. She has found success working for Tennis Channel. She is a presenter and commentator, sharing her expertise and insights with viewers.

In addition to her other endeavors, Chanda Rubin is actively managing and overseeing “The Chanda Rubin Foundation.”
