During those years, he played for the teams like Albany River Rats, Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, Iowa Stars, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

After it, Chris joined the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), where he played for the Adler Mannheim. Following that, he played for the Swedish ice hockey professional team in the Elitserien with Färjestad BK. 

Moving on, he then entered the Russian club Metallurg Magnitogorsk with a three-year contract extension. Right after it, he assisted the team in winning the Gagarin Cup. Those years were one of his best years. 

Later in 2017, Chris did try out for the Los Angeles Kings’ training camp; however, he couldn’t make it.

As his major international game debut, Chris Lee featured in the European-based Team Canada. With them, he played in the Deutschland Cup in 2013 and also in 2017.
