Chubba Purdy grew up with an elder brother, Brock Purdy, and an elder sister, Whittney Purdy.
Born to an athletic father, Shawn, who played baseball at Miami and minor leagues, all the Purdy siblings inherited athletic abilities.

As a four-star recruit by Rivals, 247Sports, and ESPN, he committed to play football at Florida State University.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers quarterback has an elder brother, Brock Purdy (b. December 27, 1999), who plays quarterback for the 49ers.
As a child, Brock was a big fan of the Miami Dolphins, which is why he wears the number 13 jersey in honor of Dan Marino.
Growing up, the two Purdy brothers played football and pushed each other to improve their game.
Graduating from Perry High School, the elder Purdy committed to play college football at Iowa State University.
During his time with Iowa, his team, for the first time since 1923-27, won four consecutive seasons.
Moreover, he won several accolades, including the Big 12 True Freshman of the Year – ESPN (2018) and Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team (2018).
Brock’s NFL journey began as the 262nd overall pick by the 49ers in the 2022 NFL Draft.
In his first season, during the NFC Championship Game, he sustained an injury to his right elbow, a complete tear of his ulnar collateral ligament.
Despite the injury, he reentered the game, however, was not able to throw the ball more than 10 yards.
Besides, Brock is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Brandt. Brandt was a member of the varsity volleyball team.

Sister Whittney Was A Collegiate Softball Player
Chubba’s sister Whittney played softball at Spartanburg Methodist College and Southeastern University.
She attended Spartanburg in 2016 and later enrolled at Southeastern in 2018.
Additionally, she also did an internship as a marketing assistant at Switch from June to July 2019.
Whittney is also active in volunteering work and has been serving as the customer support specialist at American Heart Association since April 2015.
However, her present endeavor is unknown. Whittney is in a relationship with Jared Schmidt, who serves in the military.
