Cody Ohl Suspension Incident in 2004: What Was The Reason?

In May 2004, the then-tie-down roping world champion Cody Ohl was suspended by the PRCA officials for disciplinary reasons.

The PRCA took action because the organization’s rules call for a suspension if a contestant physically confronts a rodeo official, employee, contestant, or spectator.

Ohl allegedly confronted a high-ranking PRCA official in the interactive village outside the Orleans Arena.

The length of the suspension was 30 days, and the amount of the fine was kept undisclosed.
