The former football wide receiver and now television personality Corey Robison was raised by his parents, Valerie and David Robinson, alongside two brothers.

His father, David Robinson, a two-time NBA Champion, is considered one of the most decorated players ever to grace the beautiful game.

Born in Texas, the 29-year-old attended San Antonio Christian High School.

Ranked as a four-star recruit by, he played collegiate football for the University of Notre Dame.

However, in the 2016 offseason, Robinson, a young and promising talent with immense potential, decided to retire from the sport after suffering a third concussion.

Later, in 2021, the former wide receiver transitioned into a broadcaster and is now a studio analyst.

Corey Robinson was born in January 1995 to his parents, David and Valerie Robinson.

David and Valerie tied the knot in 1991 and are proud parents to three sons, David Jr., Corey, and Justin.

Born into a pedigree of refined athletes, Corey wasn’t the first in the family to play sports.

His father, David Robinson, played in the NBA for San Antonio Spurs from 1989 to 2003. 

Nicknamed “the Admiral” for his service with the U.S. Navy, he is widely considered the best basketball player in Naval Academy history. 

He received many honors and accolades during his professional career, including being a 2-time NBA Champion (1993, 2003), the 1995 NBA MVP, a 10-time NBA All-Star, and a 2-time Olympic Gold medalist. 

Outside of the court, David and his wife, Valerie, created the David Robinson Foundation in November 1992.

Valerie is reportedly the co-founder of an NGO, IDEA Carver, which helps to provide education for the underprivileged.

Unfortunately, there are not many details available about Corey’s mother, Valerie Robinson (nee. Hoggatt). 

Elder Brother: David Robinson Jr

The eldest sibling in the family, David Robinson Jr, graduated from San Antonio Christian in 2011.

After completing high school, he enrolled at the University of Texas for his higher studies and graduated with a human relations, communication, and media studies degree.

Furthermore, David Jr completed his master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a graduate certificate in real estate finance and development.

Reportedly, he is the director of placemaking for Western Urban.

Younger Brother: Justin Robinson

The younger brother of Corey, Justin Michael Robinson, is an American professional basketball forward who competes in the Israeli National League for Elitzur Netanya. 

Justin enrolled at San Antonio Christian School, the same as his elder brothers.

Additionally, the youngest sibling played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. In his senior year, he received the 2020 Tedd E. Mann Award for his contributions to the team.

On September 18, 2020, Justin signed his first professional contract with Mornar Bar of the Montenegrin League and the ABA League.
