The death of the dirt track racer and car designer Cory Podolski has shocked the racing community.
As the group adjusts to the devastating loss of cherished racer Cory Podolski, also known as “CPod,” the racing community as a whole is in deep mourning.
According to the sources, it was verified that he passed away peacefully in his sleep. His precise cause of death has not yet been made public as of the time of writing.
The former Co-owner and Vice President at Nine2zero Designs RC, Cory Podolski, was more than just a racer.
In the close-knit racing community, Podolski was a beacon of joy and a representation of positivity.
Cory, originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, also worked at FASTSIGNS, a signage company that provides custom sign and graphics products.
Podolski’s major racing data dates back to 2001, when he appeared in the Wisconsin Challenge Series and finished 65th. Mark Eswein remained the series champion with 3 races and 4+ margins.
His other remarkable series was the ASA Late Model Series Challenge in 2004, with a standing of 19. However, the following year, in 2005, his performance in the series dropped and he finished 78.
Recently, Podolski was on the entry list for the Crandon International Raceway event on September 1st and 2nd. He had made it into the entry list under Pro Spec.
Before that, Cory had also appeared in the Bark River International Raceway, finishing fifth on August 12, 2023.

The fellow racer Cori Lemke posted on Facebook with some fun memories of him and his beloved friend Coy.
“So many good things about this weekend with his first podium in his pro spec on Saturday and a great finish on Sunday! So grateful to have gotten to spend the summer with such a wonderful guy!”
“He was so happy this weekend… Happy for his race pit buddies and their accomplishments and for his accomplishments! He will be greatly missed by all of us,” he added.
