Relationship & Marriage
The former Chicago Sky teammates’ journey begins with the hoops. At the end of the 2012–13 season, Quigley’s team faced off with Vandersloot’s team in a five-game series of the Slovakian Championship.
As Kosice won the series, both were bound to compete for playing time at Chicago Sky. They got to know each other as they were on the same flight back to the U.S.
The couple decided to begin dating in late September after the couple acknowledged their mutual feelings.
They even lived together in Istanbul for three Euroleague seasons playing for different Turkish teams.
The Chicago Sky starters would be the first to high-five each other after a big basket and bring out the best in each other.
After keeping their relationship out of the spotlight for over five years, the pair married on December 27, 2018.
The “VanderQuigs” exchanged the vows in Seattle, north of Vandersloot’s hometown of Kent.
WNBA players Gabby Williams, Diamond DeShields, and Carolyn Swords were also present at the wedding.
