Dajia Johnson, Freddie’s wife, the tough entrepreneur, brain injury survivor, and family anchor who’s been by his side through his jump from Legacy Titans head coach to Texas Tech scouting director

In high school and college football, Freddie Johnson has quickly risen in his career while remaining a devoted family man to his wife, Dajia.

Married since February 5, 2023, after more than six years together and an engagement in December 2020, the couple shares a bond that’s as strong as it is inspiring.

They are proud parents to two young children, a son and a daughter, who bring joy and balance to their busy lives.

Dajia, who is 31 years old, is not only a supportive partner but also a strong entrepreneur, content creator, and survivor.

Her story of overcoming challenges has inspired many people.

Freddie Johnson began his coaching career after being a student-athlete at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, where he earned a degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness.

He started as a defensive backs coach at Langston University before joining Legacy School of Sports Sciences in Houston, Texas, in 2020.

At Legacy, he excelled as a high school interventionist, football defensive coordinator, and recruiting coordinator, ultimately becoming the fourth head football coach in December 2025.

Johnson took over after Michael Bishop, who had a successful tenure with a 36-21 record. Under Bishop and with Johnson on staff, the Titans had a strong 2025 season led by star quarterback Keisean Henderson.

However, Johnson recently accepted a position as associate director of scouting at Texas Tech University, marking his transition to the college level.

This change means Legacy SSS will be searching for a new head coach while also dealing with the loss of Henderson, who signed with Houston.

During these job changes, Freddie’s family remains his anchor.

Dajia Johnson, a dynamic 31-year-old mother and entrepreneur, has built her own empire with D’Luxe Beauty Cosmetics, also known as Dajour Beauté.

The brand offers luxurious makeup products and has expanded to include high-quality hair extensions, catering to women seeking everyday glamour with a touch of elegance.

Dajia promotes her line through engaging social media content, including posts about glam routines and product giveaways, encouraging customers to share their looks for a chance to win prizes or discounts.

Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through in how she blends beauty with empowerment, creating a community around self-expression and confidence.

Dajia shares her family’s life on her YouTube channel, “Beautiful Dajia,” showcasing heartwarming moments, travel adventures, and everyday joys.

Her content connects with those who appreciate authenticity and positivity. In 2024, Dajia’s life changed when she suffered a severe brain injury.

Hospitalized, she faced challenges like losing the ability to walk and talk, as well as hearing and memory loss.

Recovery was difficult, but with strong faith, determination, and support from her family, especially Freddie, Dajia became stronger.

She now inspires others facing struggles. Her journey has deepened her family’s bond and resilience.

As Freddie starts at Texas Tech, Dajia continues to thrive as a business owner, content creator, and mother.

Together, they show that personal victories and professional goals can coexist.

The Johnsons’ story shows that behind every coach is a supportive family, and their future looks bright.
