Dan Quinn net worth is reported to be around $10 million. The NFL head coach Quinn was one of the top-earning defensive coaches last season with the Cowboys. 

Dan Quinn is set to return to the head coach position for the 2024 season. He was previously a head coach for the Atlanta Falcons for five seasons before being fired in 2020.

Last year, Quinn passed on the head coaching job to remain with the Cowboys. He was interviewed by the Broncos, the Cardinals, and the Colts but decided he would stick with the Cowboys. 

But as per Adam Schefter, the Commanders have hired the Cowboys defensive coordinator as Ron Rivera’s replacement. The Washington Commanders have also hired Adam Peters as their general manager.

The NFL football coach Dan Quinn has a net worth of $10 million. The former Atlanta head coach, Dan Quinn, began his NFL career with the 49ers in 2001 and has since then, coached several NFL sides.

Quinn’s coaching career began in 1994 with William & Mary as a defensive line coach. Two seasons later, Quinn joined Hofstra and worked there for four seasons before getting his big break with the 49ers.

He began his career as a defensive quality control coach and was later promoted to defensive line coach. He worked in the same position for the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets and was hired by the Seattle Seahawks as an assistant head coach in 2009. 

After coaching at the University of Florida for two seasons, Dan returned to the NFL with the Seahawks in 2013. At the time, ESPN reported that the Seahawks had given the defensive coordinator a three-year contract worth $5.7 million. 

The deal paid Quinn approximately $1.9 million per season. But Quinn stayed with the Seahawks for only two seasons, with the Atlanta Falcons offering him the head coach position.

He initially signed a five-year contract, but the details were not handed out to the media. But in 2018, it was reported that he signed a contract extension worth $13 million. 

The contract extension might’ve come with a better salary package but didn’t help Quinn reach the top 10 highest-paid NFL coaches list made by Bleachers Report in 2018. 

Bill Belichick, Jon Gruden, and Pete Carroll held the top three positions on the list. Belichick was banking $12.5 million, and Gruden was approximately making $10 million as the Raiders’ head coach.

In 2020, Quinn was fired by the Flacons after a 0-5 start to the season. But Quinn didn’t have a hard time finding a new home. The Dallas Cowboys signed him as their defensive coordinator in 2021.

Last year, it was reported that Dan’s contract with the Dallas Cowboys was in the same range as an NFL head coach. It was estimated he was making $4.5-$5 million with Jerry Jones’ side. 

When he signed with the Cowboys, it was reported that the coach had cut the price of his Georgia Mansion to $2.2 million. He had purchased the home for $1.99 million in 2015.

In 2021, Dan and his wife, Stacey, donated $200,000 to Salisbury University to support the school’s fundraising program. The two graduates of SU contributed to the program’s Football, Track and Field Excellence, and Athletic Training.

They also donated to the existing Lamboni Family Scholarship, which supports students in SU’s College of Health and Human Services.

While in Seattle, Dan founded Quinn’s Corps, a program that honors military service members. In 2022, he was nominated for the Cowboys’ USAA Salute to Service Award.

While in Dallas, Quinn participated in various events put on by Merging Vets and Players (MVP), hosting workouts and mental health discussions with local veterans at the Cowboys’ facilities. 

In 2020, Dan also contributed to Matt Ryan’s fundraiser, which was about the worldwide protests about systemic racism and inequality. The NFL coach dedicated $25,000, helping the cause reach $630,000.
