Daniel gets along quite well with his siblings, and they look up to each other in a certain aspect.

And during his childhood days, he was a huge fan of Eli Manning, the formal football quarterback in the NFL, who played fifteen years for the New York Jets.

He dreamed of becoming a quarterback in the NFL since his third standard.

Family Line

Daniel Jones | Professional Career

The New York Giants drafted him with the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Well, clearly, it has not even crossed two years of his professional life as he made his official debut on August 8, 2019, against the inter-league rival New York Jets.

The most interesting phase of his life would be when he got to play as a backup behind the man he looked up to.

You must have a hint by now because the man is Eli Manning. He got to play his first regular season against Dallas.

Daniel was titled the starter of the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

Daniel became the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 3. He gave his team two regular wins against Washington Redskins and Buccaneers.

He received the Pepsi Offensive Rookie of the Week in the 16th Week for his brilliance as a rookie player.

After 2020

Coming to 2020, Daniel became the team captain for his second season. Before this, Eli Manning earned that honor and responsibility for thirteen years.

It seems like Daniel was seriously following in his idol’s footsteps.

Daniel had to face a hamstring injury in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, leading him to miss the rest of the games.

His coach, Joe Judge, showed optimism, but we must wait for Daniel to respond to recover as soon as possible.

Jones suffered a 27–13 defeat to the Denver Broncos at the beginning of the 2021 season.

Daniel Jones | Personal Life

One cannot wonder if this handsome, young, and sensible man can really go single. Daniel has a massive female fan following. Thus, curiosity goes about whether this young quarterback is single or not.

They studied together at Duke University, and Ella was a long-time cheerleader for her only boyfriend.

Ella was born in Cleveland, Ohio but spent most of her life in Long Island, New York. She also plays for the Women’s Lacrosse team and received the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times. Julian Edelman is her favorite athlete.

But The Real Question Is, Are They Still Together?

Aligning with online sources, Ella changed her Instagram to private and unfollowed Daniel.

However, Daniel is still following Ella on Instagram. But there are no such updates. That pretty much sums up that things are sour between this couple.

And this apparently happened during the quarantine days.

Currently, we have no other information on the couple.

Daniel Jones | Danny Dimes

How did he receive his nickname “Danny Dimes”?

Okay, there is no such exciting reason behind this. He was given this nickname during the early start of his rookie year.

It just happened randomly. Here, dimes mean throwing a pass perfectly, and he was expected to do so.

And Danny was something that rhymed well with Daniel. Also, because of the alliteration.

Henceforth, Danny Dimes happened ahead of his rookie year. He was pretty okay with it. His teammate Alex Tanney also supported his unique nickname.

Moreover, Daniel was called “Swag” in his early days at Charlotte Latin in North Carolina. And following that, he was nicknamed ” The Future” at Duke University.
