Mitch Trubisky’s NFL aspirations were brought to fruition with the utmost support of his parents.

Witnessing their son’s journey from a relatively unknown quarterback at North Carolina to becoming one of the top NFL prospects in 2017 and seeing him play in the NFL, Dave and Jeanne Trubisky played a pivotal role in his success.

Mitchell Trubisky, a professional American football quarterback, attended Mentor High School.

The 2012 Ohio Mr. Football Award winner passed for 9,126 yards and 92 touchdowns and rushed for 1,559 career yards and 33 touchdowns during high school.

He then played college football at the University of North Carolina before the Chicago Bears selected him as the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The quarterback spent three seasons with the Bears from 2017 to 2020, leading them to their first division title in 2018.

Despite this achievement, his inconsistent performance led to the Bears not renewing his contract in 2021. Subsequently, he spent a season as a backup with the Buffalo Bills.

Trubisky joined the Steelers the following year, alternating between the roles of starter and backup.

Mitch Trubisky was born on August 20, 1984, to parents Dave & Jeanne Trubisky in Ohio, United States. He grew up alongside two brothers and a sister.

Football is deeply ingrained in the Trubisky family’s history. Dave and Jeanne, Mitch’s parents, first met as flag football teammates at the University of Akron, where their shared passion for sports brought them together. 

Jeanne excelled in four sports during high school, and Dave, a participant in three, found common ground in their love for athletics.

The couple engages in debates over which one of them passed on the athletic genes to Mitch.

Wearing the No. 10 jersey at North Carolina, Mitch paid homage to his father, Dave, who donned the same number during high school.

Mitch’s three siblings engaged in athletic pursuits following their sports-loving parents’ footsteps.

Both his brothers, Manning and Mason, played for Mentor High School, the same alma mater as Mitch.

Meanwhile, Mitch’s sister, Mariah, showcased her basketball skills at Mentor as well.

Mitch Trubisky Wife, Hillary Gallagher

Mitch Trubisky initially crossed paths with his wife during his tenure with the Chicago Bears. Their public debut as a couple took place at the team gala in 2019.

Formerly known as Hillary Gallagher, Mitch’s wife is a private pilates instructor and has stood by Trubisky’s side ever since.

They exchanged vows on July 3, 2021, and in May 2022, they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Hudson David.
