Both are touted high-level prospects and are poised to make their mark in professional basketball soon.
Born on September 8, 2001, Deja Kelly is an American college basketball player who plays point guard.
Her passion for basketball started at the age of five, and joined the varsity basketball team during her first year at Lady Bird Johnson High School.
During her junior season, she opted for a change and transferred to Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas.
Her performances earned her invitations to the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic, both of which unfortunately got canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Considered a five-star recruit, she committed to North Carolina, turning down offers from Texas A&M, Duke, and Minnesota.
Furthermore, she secured a spot in the first-team All-ACC selection twice in 2022 and 2023.
