What did Deshaun Watson do? He faced allegations of sexual assault and had a lawsuit filed against him.
Derrick Deshaun Watson is an American football quarterback of the Cleveland Browns of the NFL.
He completed his high school at Gainesville and later committed to play for the Clemson Tigers for his collegiate years.

Deshaun declared his name for the 2017 NFL draft forgoing his remaining college eligibility.
The Houston Texans picked him as the 12th overall pick in that year’s draft.
The professional football quarterback played four seasons with the Texans and started his journey with the Cleveland Browns in 2022.
While he was supposed to start the 2022 season with the Browns, he was suspended for 11 regular season games due to his sexual harassment allegations.
Sexual Assault Allegations And Lawsuit
The Browns quarterback found himself stranded in a wrong nightmare one could have ever experienced.
Tony Buzbee, a Houston-based lawyer, filed a civil suit on behalf of a massage therapist, Ashley Solis, on March 16, 2021.
The therapist alleged that Watson sexually assaulted her during a session in March 2020.
The suit stated that the football player touched the masseuse with his private part before asking for sex.
Following the event, Watson reportedly called her and apologized for his actions. The Texans also released a statement that they “hope to learn more” about the incident.

However, this wasn’t the only allegation Dawson faced; a day after his first allegation, Buzbee announced another massage therapist was also filing a suit against the athlete.
This second massage therapist was also reportedly sexually assaulted by Watson in the Houstonian Hotel in August 2020.
The then-Texans quarterback asked for a massage session and ordered her to massage his p***s, which she refused.
After these two cases made it to the news, other similar cases started surfacing.
In a matter of a few days, a total of 14 cases were already filed against Watson.
On March 29, 2021, another California-based massage therapist, Mary, reached out to the lawyer and expressed her experience with quarterback back in 2019.
However, a Harris Country grand jury declined to indict Watson on criminal charges in March 2022, opening the door for Watson’s trade to the Browns.
Dawson’s Future With The Browns
In Watson’s second season with the Browns and his first full offseason, the Browns coach, Kevin Stefanski, is positive regarding the quarterback’s future.
His six games last year were not great; however, the Browns #4 has the potential to perform at the highest level, which is evident from his previous elite gameplays.
Watson had a great minicamp and fully participated through the entirety of OTAs.
“I think where he is right now, hard to compare to a year ago, but I certainly see a comfort level in what we’re doing offensively, said Stefanski. “I see a guy that is always going to be leading out in front, that’s kind of who he is.”
On March 18, 2012, Watson inked a five-year contract extension worth $230 million with the Browns, keeping him with the team until 2023.
