Dias and Guardiola win the Premier League awards

Manchester City defender Ruben Dias has been named Premier League player of the season, while Pep Guardiola has been named manager.

“The surgery took only 20 minutes,” said the Belgian coach Roberto Martinez, “and it went really well.”

“We have to show that we have taken a step forward in preparation,” Martinez said. 

“And we are facing a strong team, with a lot of knowledge and technical skills in the middle of the pitch.

“We have to be sharp and focused. This is a test in the group stage of the European Championship, and this is the game we need.”
