Dominique Wilkins‘s professional journey began when the Utah Jazz drafted him as the third overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft.

However, he was subsequently traded to the Atlanta Hawks, where he spent the majority of his career playing for twelve seasons (1982-1994).

In addition to his time with the Hawks, he also played for the Los Angeles Clippers (1994), Boston Celtics (1994-95), San Antonio Spurs (1996-97), and Orlando Magic (1999).

Nicknamed “the Human Highlight Film,” Dominique was a nine-time NBA All-Star and a seven-time All-NBA team member.

One of the most acrobatic slam dunkers in the NBA, he was the 1986 NBA scoring champion and two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion (1985, 1990).
