The former Detroit Pistons coach Dwane Casey and his wife, Brenda Casey, share two adorable kids; one daughter and one son.

After stepping down as the head coach, Dwane currently works in a front-office role with the team.

The frontrunners for that vacant job were Bucks assistant coach Charles Lee and former Celtics coach Ime Udoka.

However, the Pistons have now appointed Monty Williams as their new head coach, offering a lucrative deal that makes him the highest-paid coach in the NBA.

The Indiana-born coach, Dwane, started his coaching journey following a suggestion from his then-college coach, Joe B. Hall.

In 1979, he served as the assistant coach for his college’s basketball team, Kentucky Wildcats.

Since then, he has worked as an assistant coach for the Seattle SuperSonics and Dallas Mavericks, as well as head coach for Minnesota Timberwolves, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons.
