At present, Clark stands with her degree in economics at the University of Wisconsin. Unfortunately, there is no in-depth information about her family background, parents’ names, and many more.

Initial Journey
Since her early days, Emily Clark has had a family’s nightly ritual of watching hockey highlights on TV. During one of such nights, Emily was inspired by one of the player’s stories.
He stated that his dream to play in the NHL got fulfilled that day after signing the contract. BAllher siblings were indulged in the sport back in the day, and she would often visit them in their skill development classes.
As she recalls, her fondest memory would be the piggyback rides her brothers would give back then. Likewise, her father used to be the local ice hockey coach, and gradually, with all of them, she commenced learning the skill.
Altogether, she states that she would feel more supportive of her brothers during her early days instead of having the constant need to prove her worth on the field.

Emily Clark | Professional Career
Carrying the dream of being an Olympian, Emily Clark commenced her training between the age of seven and ten. Initially, Kelly Boes coached her, and describes her as feisty and quick.
Until the age of fourteen, Emily played ice hockey with both the boys and the girls before entering female hockey. Following it, she played in Saskatoon for ten years and then entered the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League rosters.
Emily Clark attended the Okanagan Hockey Academy during her two years of high school. By the season 2010-11, she stood as the alternate captain for the Saskatoon Stars.
Before this season, Emily bagged the Tier 2 Saskatoon city championship with the Saskatoon Flyers.
Balancing both school and sport, Emily reached the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League championship game. Furthermore, she also bagged a gold medal at Mac’s Tournament with the Stars.
Canada Hockey Team
In 2011, Emily Clark joined Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team while debuting in a three-game series against the United States. Back then, she stood as the youngest player to be on the roster.
In the meantime, Emily became one of only three women from Saskatchewan invited to try out for the team.
NCAA & Winter Olympics
After 2013, Emily Clark left the Under-18 Team and then earned a spot on Canada’s National Women’s Team. Her NCAA debut came on October 3, 2014, against the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.
She posted three points during her debut match (two goals and one assist). By 2017, Emily Clark had appeared in the roster of the Nations Cup and played in the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
Moving on, Emily gained her career-high most points during her match against the Ohio State Buckeyes on December 9, 2016. Well, she recorded a goal and four assists, for which she bagged the WCHA Player of the Month for the first time in her career.
All along the way, Emily also postponed her career at the Canadian Women’s Hockey League due to her college graduation. Later, she joined the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association.
Emily Clark also partook at the 2018 Winter Olympics held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. She helped Team Canadabag to a silver medal in a shootout against the United States.
