Texas native Colby Donaldson is set to return to Survivor for a fourth time in 2026.
Host Jeff Probst shared the exciting news during Wednesday’s episode of CBS Mornings on 28 May.
Although the 49th season hasn’t aired yet, Probst revealed the full cast for the upcoming 50th season, which will be a milestone for the show.
His sports background undoubtedly contributed to his competitiveness and strength, which were evident during his time on Survivor: The Australian Outback. He became a fan favorite and finished in second place.
After all, he attended Christoval High School in Christoval, Texas, where he graduated in 1992. During his high school years, he was an active member of the varsity football team.
He is also an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys activities like water skiing, mountain biking, and sand volleyball.

Following the announcement of his return to Survivor for its 50th season, Colby, 51, stepped away from Instagram.
Meanwhile, Britt Bailey has continued to express her love and support for him publicly through her own social media posts.
She expressed how proud she is of him for taking on the challenge once again and admitted it won’t be easy being apart with no contact.
Britt is entirely behind him and cheering him on every step of the way, and so are fans.
Support has been pouring in for both Colby and Britt, as many people are rooting for the couple during this exciting new chapter in their Survivor journey.

In September 2016, Colby Donaldson tied the knot with Britt Bailey, his longtime partner and fellow Texan.
Britt is an interior designer and owns a beauty shop called Britt’s Beauty Counter.
Today, they live in Austin, Texas, and are proud parents to their teenage daughter, Brinley.
Their daughter, Brinley, loves animals and the outdoors, much like her dad, and they often share family adventures on Instagram, like exploring their ranch or spending time in nature.

- On May 8, 2001, he joined other Survivor cast members on The Rosie O’Donnell Show, where Rosie surprised him with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, something he had mentioned wanting during the final tribal council of the season.
- A week later, he also appeared on Hollywood Squares with other castmates from the season.
- Colby continued to use his platform for good. On May 16, 2002, he helped support a Make-A-Wish Foundation event in West Texas as a representative and speaker.
