Isaiah Bond, a former wide receiver for the University of Texas and a declared prospect for this month’s NFL Draft, faces legal issues just weeks before the event.
According to reports, the 21-year-old voluntarily surrendered to authorities in Frisco, Texas, on April 10 in connection with an outstanding warrant related to a sexual assault allegation.
Just a few days ago, Isaiah Bond’s mom, Penny Bond, posted on Twitter, saying her son could “fly” in the 2025 NFL.
She was proud and excited for his future.
He had even interviewed with Shannon Sharpe, showing he was ready for the big stage.
No one, especially his mom, could’ve imagined things would take such a turn so soon after.
