Hacienda Heights, California Native and Former Wilson High Baseball Star TJ Pizzitola, 29, Dies in Violent Unprovoked Attack, Leaving Behind His Pregnant Wife Krisan and Family

TJ Pizzitola, a longtime resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, and a former athlete, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at an untimely age of 29, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.

According to reports, TJ Pizzitola was the victim of a violent, unprovoked attack that left him severely injured and brain dead, ultimately taking his life far too soon in a senseless and tragic assault.

Born in Hacienda Heights, California, Thomas John ‘TJ’ Pizzitola touched the lives of many with his amazing athletic skills and his kind and cheerful nature.

TJ Pizzitola attended Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California, where he played varsity baseball as a utility player, wearing number 10.

Standing 6’0″, TJ contributed to the team throughout the 2012–2013 and 2013–2014 seasons.

He participated in multiple games, recording hits, runs, RBIs, and a stolen base, and maintained a perfect fielding percentage in several appearances.

Similarly, TJ was recognized in the Valle Vista league, ranking 25th for stolen bases, and graduated from his high school in 2014.

Although he didn’t continue his athletic career, TJ continued to positively impact the lives of others through his kind nature and his career as a technician.

TJ Pizzitola served as a general maintenance technician at Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse and was a plumber at Alliance Trade Services in Arizona until his recent, tragic passing.

Furthermore, the untimely death of TJ Pizzitola has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

Many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the late TJ and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

TJ Pizzitola is Survived By His Wife, Krisan, Parents, and The Entire Family

TJ Pizzitola, who was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first child, leaves behind his beloved wife, Krisan J. Pizzitola, who is pregnant. Their unborn son is due to arrive this November.

While Krisan hasn’t released any statement regarding the untimely death of her husband, TJ Pizzitola, as she is currently grieving, the Scottsdale, Arizona community has created a GoFundMe to help her during this difficult time.

The fundraiser, which aims to raise $45k, was created to support Krisan in covering hospital bills, final arrangement expenses, and the soon-to-be-born baby’s expenses.

In addition to his wife, TJ Pizzitola is survived by his mother, Gina Pizzitola; his father; grandparents; uncles; aunts; siblings; cousins; and the entire family.

His mother, Gina Pizzitola, is a realtor and currently serves as a real estate broker associate and associate broker of The Agency Collective and The Ave Collection in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Prior to that, she worked as a realtor at North & Co. in Phoenix, Arizona, for nearly six years. No information is available about his father, as he prefers to maintain a low profile.
