Georgia native Dylin Musgrove, aka Little D, tragically passed away on November 18, 2025, shortly after he had begun his career as a firefighter.
While the cause of his passing remains under the rock, his passing is reported to be sudden and unexpected.
Family Members And the Augusta Community Are Mourning The Loss of Dylin Musgrove!
Dylin Musgrove was a young man from Augusta, Georgia, who proudly graduated with the Augusta Fire Department’s Recruit Class 24-03 in September 2024.
He began his firefighter training in March of that year and, after months of hard work, stood with his fellow recruits to take the Oath of Service at Augusta Tech’s Jack B. Patrick Information Technology Center.
During the ceremony, his mother, Katie Musgrove, embraced him as he received his firefighter pin.
Beyond this, in high school, Dylin Musgrove enjoyed playing a variety of sports and passionately cheered for his favorite team.
Dylin’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, classmates, friends, and the entire community.

A celebration of life for Dylin ‘Bubby’ Musgrove will be held on Friday, November 21st, at 10:00 am at Journey Community Church, located at 4798 Hardy McManus Road, Evans.
Attendees are invited to honor Dylin’s vibrant spirit by dressing in a way that reflects his personality, whether it’s wearing funny dog t-shirts, band swag, firefighter gear, funny socks, something purple, or anything else that would bring a smile to his face.
This gathering is a heartfelt tribute to the joy, humor, and warmth he shared with everyone around him.
