Hank Lyle Vasbinder, a 13-year-old football player from Floresville, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2025.

While the exact cause of his death has not been publicly shared, his sudden passing has left his family and community heartbroken.

The Entire Floresville Community is Mourning The Loss of Young Hank Lyle Vasbinder!

Born on June 23, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, Hank was a rising athlete who loved football and gave his all on the field.

Though young, he showed great promise and dedication to the sport, often keeping his teammates motivated and his coaches proud.

His energy and sportsmanship made him a standout among his peers, and he was admired not just for his talent but for his spirit and heart.

Beyond football, he loved riding his mini-bike and spending time with his brothers.

Hank’s sudden passing has left a void in the heart of his family and the entire community.

Tributes have poured in from friends, family, and the wider community.

His family shared that Hank was “a light in the lives of everyone who knew him,” and they are doing their best to honor his memory.

Additionally, there is a GoFundMe campaign “Join Us in Supporting the Vasbinder Family“, created by Michelle Vasbinder.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to support the Vasbinder family with funeral expenses and other costs.

Additionally, the campaign serves as a way for the community to come together, share memories, and show love for Hank and his family during this heartbreaking time.

Hank is survived by his loving parents, Walter Ray and Felicia Vasbinder, and his two brothers, Wyatt and Jack Vasbinder, who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Rosie Vasbinder; maternal great-grandparents, John and Joyce Schwab; and paternal great-grandparents, Leonard and Lois Felux.
