Chandi Dayle explained that the breakup with Ryan stemmed from emotional exhaustion and unresolved trauma from previous relationship.

Dayle is a former veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) and a standout figure in the Netflix docuseries America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

She spent six seasons with the team, rising to the role of first group leader and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2024.

Recently, Netflix released Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on June 18, 2025, and it’s already making waves.

This season follows the 2024–2025 NFL year, focusing on veteran cheerleaders like Chandi Dayle and new rookies competing for a spot on the famous team.

Chandi Dayle Violated DCC Protocol Following Her Breakup With Her Boyfriend!

As shown in America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 2, Chandi broke up with her boyfriend, Ryan, around he time of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ team retreat to the Bahamas.

She opened up during the show about the emotional toll she was under, balancing leadership duties, multiple jobs, and personal struggles.

She revealed that her relationship with Ryan had become strained, partly due to lingering trauma from a previous abusive relationship.

Additionally, she said that her ex-boyfriend had been emotionally and physically abusive, misused alcohol, and even stalked her after their breakup.

Later, she admitted that he threatened Ryan, which understandably put a strain on her new relationship.

During the trip to the Bahamas, Chandi met someone who had experienced similar hardships.

She was feeling isolated and overwhelmed, so she confided in him for support.

Then, she brought him back to her shared hotel room, which violated DCC protocol. Some teammates felt unsafe and blindsided, especially since they didn’t know who the man was.

Chandi later clarified that it wasn’t a romantic or physical encounter, but rather a moment of emotional vulnerability where she needed someone to talk to.

The breakup with Ryan was a turning point. Chandi said,

I deserve better. I deserve to be treated better, and so do you.

As of now, there’s no public information confirming that either Chandi Dayle or Ryan has entered a new relationship following their breakup.

Chandi has been focusing on her personal growth and mental health since stepping away from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

She’s stayed connected to the dance world, judging auditions and mentoring younger dancers, but hasn’t shared anything publicly about dating again.

Ryan, for his part, has remained out of the spotlight and hasn’t made any statements or appearances related to their past relationship or his current status.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Chandi was adopted and raised in Oro Valley, Arizona, and her parents divorced when she was around 10 or 11 years old.
  • She once mentioned that her father was from Trinidad and Tobago, and her mother is of Italian descent.
