Brian Shaw, one of the greatest strength athletes of all time, has dominated the world of strongman competitions for years alongside his inspiring wife, Keri Shaw.
Together, they’ve built a beautiful family, a thriving business, and a love story as strong as Brian’s legendary lifts.
Keri Shaw, born and raised in Hummelstown, Colorado, is the wife of a strongman legend and a woman of many talents and passions.
Before stepping into the spotlight alongside Brian, Keri was a high school math teacher for a decade.
She also coached soccer, showing her knack for inspiring and leading others. However, her love for fitness truly defines her.
Keri is a fitness enthusiast who once competed in the Amateur Bikini Competition at the Arnold Classic in 2012, proving she’s no stranger to hard work and dedication.
Today, Keri is a devoted mom, a business partner, and a social media star.
She’s active online, sharing glimpses of her family’s life holiday celebrations, Brian’s victories, and sweet moments with their two sons. Her warmth and authenticity shine through in every post.
Brian And Keri’s Love Story Began In 2014, A Year After Keri Faced A Heartbreaking Loss
Before Brian, Keri was married to another strongman competitor, Mike Jenkins.
Mike was a rising star in the strongman world.
He won the prestigious Arnold Strongman Classic in 2012 and placed fourth at the 2013 World’s Strongest Man competition.
Tragically, Mike passed away in November 2013 at just 31 years old.
His death, caused by an enlarged heart suspected to be linked to long-term steroid use, shook the strongman community.
A native of Westminster, Maryland, Mike had a short but brilliant career, leaving behind a legacy of strength and determination.
After losing Mike, Keri found love again with Brian Shaw.
The two met in 2014, and their connection was instant.
A year later, on July 4, 2015, they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. It was a fresh start for Keri and the beginning of an incredible partnership with Brian.
Brian and Keri didn’t waste time starting their family. Their first son, Braxton, arrived in June 2016, followed by their second son, Kellen, in May 2018.
The Shaw family settled in Brighton, Colorado, where they’ve created a loving home. One of their proudest decisions is homeschooling their boys.
Keri and Brian believe it’s the best way to give Braxton and Kellen a strong foundation tailored to their needs.
Keri often shares how much joy her sons bring her. From holiday traditions to everyday adventures, she and Brian are hands-on parents who cherish every moment with their kids.

Together, they’ve built Shaw Strength, a brand that’s become a cornerstone of the strongman world.
It includes the Shaw Classic, a professional strongman event Brian created to showcase top talent, apparel, accessories, a membership club, and a massive online presence.
Their YouTube channel, ShawsStrength, boasts millions of views, with Keri often appearing alongside Brian to share their journey.
The couple also hosts the Shaw Strength Podcast, where Keri is a frequent guest and co-host. They talk about everything from fitness and family to the ups and downs of running a business together.
Further, Keri is a key part of Evolution Athletics Gear, Brian’s fitness brand, and organizes the Shaw Classic. Her energy and ideas help make their ventures a success.
In 2017, Keri launched her project, Fit Mommy Academy, a website designed to help busy moms and women kickstart their fitness journeys.
Brian couldn’t contain his pride. He posted,
Brian never misses a chance to show his love for Keri.
On their fourth anniversary in 2019, he shared wedding photos with a touching caption:
Brian’s social media is filled with sweet tributes to Keri and their boys. Whether it’s a family photo or a post celebrating her strength, he clarifies that she’s his rock.
Brian and Keri Shaw are more than a strongman and his wife; they’re a team.
From raising their sons to running a fitness empire, they tackle life with the same grit Brian brings to the competition stage.
Their story is one of love, loss, and triumph. Together, they’re proving that true strength isn’t just about lifting weights; it’s about building a life full of purpose, family, and unbreakable bonds.
