TJ Jackson, a Frederick, Maryland-based standout football player, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at an untimely age of 13, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.
According to a GoFundMe page, TJ Jackson suffered a sudden medical emergency on the field during a football game on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital and bravely fought for his life for days. Unfortunately, TJ Jackson couldn’t survive.
While the details surrounding the actual reason behind his untimely death are not yet disclosed, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to TJ Jackson on social media and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
TJ Jackson was a cherished member of the Maryland community and touched the lives of many with his remarkable athletic skills and kind, cheerful nature.
He excelled in multiple sports and was a standout football player, playing for several youth clubs and earning several honors.
While very little information about his current school and athletic journey is available, he previously played for the Damascus Sports Association’s Cougars football team.
Wearing jersey #76, TJ Jackson led his team in several victories and won several honorable mentions for his remarkable journey.

Similarly, TJ was also a proud member of FCYAA-JR Cadets, a youth cheer and football club in Maryland.

Social Media is Filled With Heartfelt Condolences To TJ Jackson’s Family
TJ Jackson was not just an amazing athlete but also a great son to his parents, TJ Senior and Annette Brooks.
While very little information about his father is available as he prefers to maintain a low profile, his mother, Annette Brooks, took to her social media to pay tribute to her son, sharing several beautiful pictures of TJ.
Similarly, social media is filled with heartfelt condolences to TJ Jackson’s mother, Annette, and family.
