Early Life & Family 

On April 1, 1999, Gabriel Davis was born to his mother, Alana Davis, and his Father, James Davis. His mother was still very young when she was pregnant with Gabriel.

Sadly, his biological Father abandoned him and his mother before he was born.

Gabriel Davis spent his childhood in a suburb of Florida. His mother, Alana, worked multiple jobs as a single parent to raise and provide him with his basic needs.

Gabriel enrolled in Seminole High School located in Sanford and began playing basketball from a very young age. Gabe’s mother encouraged her son to do what he likes best and taught him to behave well on and off the court.

When he was about nine years old, he told his mother that he would play in the NFL one day. After fulfilling his childhood dream in 2020, he wrote an emotional letter to his mother, recalling his promise.

He considers that his mother is why he has become the man he is today. Moreover, he thinks she is his greatest inspiration.

Education

Davies chose football in high school and remained committed from the very beginning. As mentioned above, he practiced for long hours daily to make his way to the NFL. 

While in Seminole, he consistently played well to improve himself and bring out the best results for his high school. In his senior year, he had 69 receptions for 1347 yards and 17 touchdowns. 

After high school, he joined the University of Central Florida to play college football.

College Career

Davis joined the University of Central Florida to play college football, where he was impressive. Davis appeared in and started all 13 games in his first season.

Talking about his stats, he recorded 27 receptions for 391 yards and four touchdowns as a true freshman.

Moving onto his second year, he started all games except one and played well throughout the season. His stats as a sophomore comprises 53 receptions for 815 yards and 7 touchdowns, signifying a tremendous improvement in a single year.

Davis continued his incredible performance in the 2019 season as well. He started almost all games and had very good numbers.

Gabe decided to forgo his last season and declared for the 2020 NFL draft following his junior year.

Professional Career

The Buffalo Bills chose Gabriel with the 128th pick in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft. On May 8, 2020, Gabriel officially joined the club, signing a four-year contract with the Bills.

Davis did well in his preseason matches and prepared himself for his first NFL season. He recorded his first NFL touchdown on a 6-yard reception in a game against the Miami Dolphins in the second week of the league.

Gabe caught four passes for a career-best 81 yards the following week. 

Moving onto Week 12, Davis had already won the heart of Bill’s fans with his regular touchdowns and accurate passes that won numerous games for the team.

Moreover, Davis had three catches for 79 yards in the same week with a 20-yard reception touchdown against the mighty Los Angeles Chargers. However, his contribution could not save his team from defeat.

Furthermore, he caught four passes for 85 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in the same season’s playoffs wild-card round. With this, he led his team to their first-ever playoff win in 25 years.

Gabriel finished his debut season with 35 receptions for 599 yards and 7 receiving touchdowns.

He appeared in all 16 games in the 2021 NFL season and recorded 35 receptions for 539 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The NFL star caught five passes for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Panthers in the same season, making this his season-highs in both catches and touchdowns.

Most recently, in a postseason Divisional Round match played against Kansas City Chiefs, Gabriel made history, scoring four receiving touchdowns.
