Henrik Lundqvist grew up with two siblings: an identical twin brother Joel and an elder sister, Gabriella. Unlike the Lundqvist brothers into ice hockey, their sister Gabriella preferred tennis.
The Swedish retired ice hockey player spent his whole 15 years with the NHL’s New York Rangers before retiring in 2021.

Gabriella Lundqvist is the sister of Henrik Lundqvist, an elite goalie in ice hockey.
Gabriella shares the same athletic gene as her siblings. She may not be playing professionally right now, but she used to be a fantastic tennis player.
To assist the tennis career of their older sister Gabriella, the family relocated to Bstad, Skne, in southern Sweden, in 1993.
Her Instagram page leads us to believe that she has two girls and that they now reside in Sacramento.

They were of a really competitive nature, so they used to practice during kindergarten in the ice rink that their teacher made.
Moreover, the attention of the twins was piqued when Peter accompanied the Lundqvist twin to see Vastra Frolunda HC play in the Scandinavium arena in Gothenburg City.
Sadly, Peter suffered from a brain tumor in 2007. Due to some complications in the operation, he was paralyzed, which left the twins devastated.

Therese Anderson, Lundqvist’s longstanding love interest, is his wife. Meanwhile, he was playing hockey for Frolunda when the pair ran into one another in 1998.
They spent 12 years in school before advancing their education by being engaged in 2010. In 2011, the couple walked down the aisle.
The delighted parents of two girls are the Lundqvists. On July 10, 2012, they received their first daughter Charlise Lundqvist. Then on March 20, 2015, they welcomed their second daughter Juli.
With his wife Therese, the former NFL player founded The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation in 2014. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to enhancing the health and education of children and families.
